Sanofi Canada issued a national voluntary recall of all Allerject® devices in October 2015 and advised consumers to return their Allerject® epinephrine auto-injector(s) to their local pharmacy for replacement EpiPen® auto-injector(s).
In February 2016, it was announced that Sanofi will not renew their licensing agreement for Allerject®. The Allerject® is no longer being sold in Canada and training devices are not available.
