Participate in a free webinar that provides fundamental information for managing milk allergy. Find how to read labels and learn where milk can be found in prepackaged and prepared foods. Practical advice will be shared on how to communicate with others, how to manage this allergen in the home, and how to prepare your child for school and other social situations.

  • What is the webinar about: Participants will learn how to manage milk allergy and will review some of the common misconceptions surrounding this complex allergy.
  • Who is presenting: Stephanie von Dehn, a Food Allergy Canada consultant who has a background in medical social work. She works on Food Allergy Canada’s newly diagnosed program and has helped to develop and implement our Foundation in Food Allergy webinar series. She is also a co-coordinator of the Metro Vancouver Anaphylaxis Group. She has a 10-year-old daughter who has multiple food allergies, including an allergy to milk.
  • When is the webinar: July 19th at 1:30-2:30 EST
  • Who should attend: This session is geared towards parents/guardians of children with a milk allergy or anyone else interested in this topic. Interested participants are encouraged to attend one of our Foundation in Food Allergy webinars before attending this session to learn the basics on managing food allergy and anaphylaxis.
