Get involved in 2019! Plus, register your child for the next session of Allergy Pals/Allies, a free 8-week online mentorship program that is highly recommended by past participants.   • Webinar: Managing food allergy and anaphylaxis

Attend one of our free webinars that provide fundamental information for managing food allergy and anaphylaxis. These webinars are primarily geared towards parents of children who have been recently diagnosed with a food allergy.

What you’ll takeaway:

  • What is food allergy and anaphylaxis
  • How to avoid a reaction
  • What are the signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis
  • What to do in an emergency

Currently, we are offering 90-minute small group webinars (up to 4 participants) to allow for more interaction. Next sessions are January 14 and January 19.

  • Allergy Pals/Allies 8-week online mentorship program: Next session runs from February 2 to March 24, 2019

This free program includes 8 weekly one-hour online support sessions. There are two sessions offered, broken out by age of the child: Allergy Pals – Ages 7-11, Allergy Allies – Ages 12-15.

Once registered, your child will be placed into a group on a day/time convenient for your family. The groups are led by a trained peer mentor with food allergies, under the guidance of a youth program coordinator.

Register your child today for the free 8-week online mentorship program. This program has received outstanding feedback, make sure your child has the opportunity to benefit from it!

  • Allergy Pals Monthly for kids: Managing allergies during outdoor winter activities

Join us on January 27th from 7-8 pm EST to talk about managing food allergies during outdoor winter activities (like ski trips and strategies for other winter sports).

Have your 7-11-year-old kids participate in our free Allergy Pals Monthly webinars, which cover key information about managing food allergies.

Each webinar is led by a trained peer mentor with food allergies and there will be plenty of interactive games and activities that will have your child glued to the presentation! Check out one of our previous webinars:

Support groups provide a warm and caring environment for you to get help in dealing with the day-to-day stress of being at risk of anaphylaxis or having a child who is at risk.
