Ways to give – January 2017

On January 17, McDonald’s® Canada introduced the SKOR McFlurry (which contains almonds) and noted that the SKOR pieces will not be in a contained package like other nut products currently available at McDonald’s.

At the same time, McDonald’s also launched a new allergy statement that indicates all products on their menu may contain or have come in contact with peanuts, tree nuts, or other allergens. This statement essentially means that all products in the restaurant may contain or have come in contact with any allergen.

We need a strong and collective response to McDonald’s Canada on these new changes to let them know this is unacceptable to the more than 2.5 million Canadians with food allergies, and to the millions more who support them.

Help us get our message across with a public media campaign. Your funds will help ensure our voice is heard by McDonald’s with the hope that they will reconsider these new changes and reconfirm their commitment to this community. Donate today!
