- What is the webinar about: Whether your child has one food allergy, or multiple food allergies, this webinar will provide you with a few strategies to help ensure your child gets the nutrients they need to grow and thrive. You’ll learn alternate food sources that contain key nutrients, menu/recipe strategies, and how to support healthy eating behaviours. There will also be time for questions after the presentation.
- Who is presenting: Linda Kirste, BSc, MPH, RD (Registered Dietitian). She is part of a team of staff at Dietitian & Physical Activity Services, HealthLink BC, where she operates the Allergy Nutrition Service ― a tele-practice-based service that provides nutrition education and counselling, including follow-up care, to residents of British Columbia with food allergy concerns. Linda is also the Allied Health (professional) Section Co-Chair for the Canadian Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (CSACI).
