There is still time to help #MakeFoodAllergyCount with the federal government.
Last month, along with the Canadian Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (CSACI), we submitted our 2021 pre-budget submission to request a modest commitment from the federal government to initiate the National Food Allergy Action Plan.
A small investment now is critical for creating a better food allergy future and driving real change by helping to reduce food allergy prevalence, lower healthcare costs, reduce the economic burden, and ultimately improve the quality of life for the more than 3 million Canadians living with this medical condition. Read our 2021 pre-budget submission.
It begins with you
We need your support to help elevate the conversation to the next level. Please write to your Member of Parliament and ask them to support our pre-budget submission and encourage the Standing Committee on Finance to invite Food Allergy Canada and the CSACI to present an oral testimony during the consultation hearings. Send your MP an email/letter.
You have the power to make an impact
Having local candidates hear directly from people impacted by food allergy is very powerful. Share your food allergy story and ask them to make food allergy a priority.
