Connect with a support group

Have you considered a support group? It provides a positive and caring environment for you to get help in dealing with the day-to-day stress of managing food allergy and risk of anaphylaxis.

It’s also a great way to keep updated on any new developments in the food allergy community and exchange tips for navigating throughout the year.

Find a support group near you and connect now! If there isn’t one in your community, we’ll help you get one started.

Encore series

In this series, we feature past online events and webinars. This month, we’re sharing two webinars that ran last month – one on food allergy treatments and the role of clinical trials, and the other on testing your knowledge on the signs and symptoms and treatment of anaphylaxis using cases/scenarios – it’s a great session that will help you better understand anaphylaxis.

Webinar: The ins and outs of clinical trials

This session discusses what clinical trials for food allergy treatment are all about, including why they are important, what they involve, the different stages of a trial, when patients get involved, and things to consider if you are participating in one.

Webinar: Recognizing and treating anaphylaxis – why epinephrine and why not Benadryl®

Check out our interactive webinar that tests your knowledge and provides an in-depth understanding of the signs and symptoms and treatment of anaphylaxis. The session covers what is an allergic reaction, when do you know if it’s anaphylaxis, what you need to know about treating it, what epinephrine does and what role, if any, does Benadryl® have in treatment.
